Why WHMIS Training?

In Canada, all employers are required by law to provide WHMIS instruction to all employees who work within proximity to hazardous materials.  This law even extends to common materials such as cleaning products and toner. 

The WHMIS course is designed to take a "dry" subject and make it interactive and fun.  It has been created specifically for retail associates.

Course includes:

• What is WHMIS?
• Recognizing hazardous material and potential dangers
• Understanding warning labels on common household products
• Understanding in-store labels and what they contain
• WHMIS labels and hazards
• What are Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and where to find them?
• Dealing with hazardous material spills
