1. What personal information we collect:
We collect personal information in a number of circumstances when you navigate our website and use or purchase InsightU’s products and services.
We may collect information directly from you, for example:
- your name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and other contact information;
- if you purchase InsightU software or services, payment information as required to process your purchases;
- records of your purchases of InsightU software or services;
- registrations and log in information (e.g. username and password) for our InsightU hosted service;
- details about any technical support or other product related requests you may make; and
- other information we collect from you with your consent or as required or permitted by law.
Website Usage Information: We may also collect information about your visit to and use of our website. In general, this information is not personal information since this information does not identify you as an individual and we do not link it to any other identifying information that we collect from or about you. The information we collect when you visit our site may include the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) of the Web site that you came from before visiting our site, which pages you visit on our site, which URL you next go to, which browser you used to come to our site, and any search terms entered on our site. We may also collect such website usage information from the websites established by InsightU’s customers, to use for the same reasons as described above, however, again, this information is not personally identifiable information.
2. How we use your personal information
Our purpose for collecting personal information is to provide you with our products and services in a streamlined and efficient manner, to provide excellent customer service and technical support and to allow all users of our website smooth and enjoyable experience. For example, we use the contact information that you provide to deliver your purchased products and services or to provide you with newsletters or information updates you request. If you use our hosted service we will use the log in information you provide when setting up your account to confirm that you are authorized to use the site or service. We maintain information about your requests for technical support or other product related questions or requests for the purposes of providing you with solutions and ensuring that you have an excellent customer experience.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent to others the personal information we collect. InsightU may share your personal information with its affiliates or with outside agents or service providers for the purposes of providing you with the products and services you request (for example, we may use a third party payment provider to process your credit card payment for the services). These parties are acting on behalf of InsightU and may not use your personal information for other purposes. Some of these affiliates or service providers may be located outside of Canada and are therefore subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which they reside, including lawful requests for disclosure of information.
InsightU may at times enter into partnerships with other organizations to offer products or services that may be of interest to InsightU’s customers. We will share your information with such parties or organizations only with your consent.
Business Transactions: InsightU or its related entities could merge with or be acquired by another business entity or their respective assets could be acquired. Should such a transaction be proposed or occur, InsightU may share your personal information for the purpose of assessing or completing the transaction and to continue serving you and other users of our site.

4. Accessing or correcting your information
Electronic communications from us, such as newsletters, tell you how to stop receiving them. Please follow these instructions if you no longer wish to receive these messages. You may not be able to opt-out of receiving certain types of communication directly related to the products or services you use or purchase, for example payment invoices, etc.
6. Protecting your information
InsightU values your trust and is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy, and ensure proper use of information, we have employed physical, electronic, and organizational processes and procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. It is the responsibility users to keep their passwords and access codes private and not to share them with others. You should also be aware that passwords can be cached on your computer. So, in order to protect your account, it is advisable to sign off each time after you have finished using the InsightU service.
InsightU employees and other assigned personnel as well as employees or assigned personnel from InsightU’s service providers or agents will have access to your personal information as required to perform their job requirements for InsightU.
